Grade 1 had a great time going on a shape hunt around our beautiful campus. We noticed many shapes all around! We are learning more about 2D and 3D shapes and their attributes. It also inspired the drawings we made as we learned about primary and secondary colors. 

This week Grade 4 looked at cause and effect in English. We worked with signal words like because, so, therefore, since, and for this reason. We then made sentences putting the cause at the beginning and the effect at the end, as in: It was raining so I got very wet....

Dear Parents, This week students had fun sculpting a model of the heart. They were fascinated by the fact that the heart is the size of a fist. They learned about how the lungs and the heart work together to provide the body with oxygenated and deoxygenated blood.
