We had another great day first exploring the mountain in Willi then flying kites at Umq beach. Thank you again to our helpers and to our magical shopping fairies who restock supplies while we are out we are eternally grateful.
A great day out, the children had a lovely time.
To start Oman Week we did a colour scavenger hunt for items in nature. We followed this with sunset and silhouettes art and finished the day eating halwa, dates and drinking Arabic coffee in the Omani tent.
The day was filled with art, dates and Omani coffee. We learned that you have to eat an odd number of dates and that you cannot drink tea with dates.
It was a week full of researching, writing, problem solving, sharing, creating, learning and working together!
It was a joy to see secondary students join forces with our students, teachers and parents from primary in our Mother Tongue activities this week. Thank you to all involved! Here’s a taster but more is to follow in coming weeks!
