This week saw Grade 1 making observations about how their sugar and salt crystals have grown or changed. The results were varied. In maths we continued working on tens frames and practiced suberising numbers to twenty. 

Patterns and big books

This week we worked on continuing number patterns and using rules to predict what will happen if. Students started using multiple strategies and we began to branch into multiplication. We will continue to consolidate how to make and predict number patterns next week....
