Grade 5’s PYP Mini-Exhibition on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of last week was a huge success! Grade 5 raised more than 500 OMR, more than doubling their initial goal of 225, for three different charities associated with global issues linked to Units of Inquiry they investigated this year. The money will be sent to War Child to help rehabilitate child soldiers, to Fairtrade to aid in their fight against sweatshops and to the Oman Diabetes Association to assist in their campaign in educating the public about the causes, effects and prevention of diabetes.
This inspiring event would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation of students, parents and teachers alike. Grade 5 would like to thank everyone who supported them. Thanks to this support from the whole school community Grade 5’s hard work and dedication paid off (no pun intended!).
