In last week’s assembly G5 launched the latest component of ABIS’s recycling program. In addition to old paper and used batteries you can now recycle your drinking cans at ABIS. Please remember to do the following before you throw them in the blue bin:
1. Completely empty the can.
2. Completely crush the can.
ABIS’s recycling point for paper and drinking cans is beside the security guard’s station (see picture) and for batteries it is still to the right of the main doors.
The success of this program relies on the participation of the whole community so please ensure you bring in your used batteries, empty, crushed cans and old paper to be sent to a better home than the landfill.
