Grade 9 science students are gearing up for their end-of-unit test, which will assess their understanding of the recently completed unit on electricity and magnetism. Throughout this week, students delved into electromagnets during their lab sessions. They’ve conducted experiments on simple circuits, engaged in simulations involving Ohm’s Law, and tackled calculations related to power, current, and voltage. Additionally, they’ve explored various concepts including electric charge, electric field lines, static electricity, electric currents, electric circuits, Ohm’s law calculations, magnetic fields, electromagnets, motors, and generators. As they prepare for their summative Criterion A assessment, we extend our best wishes to them.
