Boys Basketball
Congratulations to our boys basketball team’s who recorded strong wins against Sohar International School Teams on Sunday. First up were the Under 14 boys who found it difficult to score in the first half against an enthusiastic SIS team. They found their rhythm and teamwork in the second half and ran away to win 28 to 8 with Kameron scoring 12 points and Sachin, Saif, Sultan and Newton 4 points each.
The senior boys game was a much closer affair with SIS fighting back every time ABIS looked like breaking away. At one stage ABIS led by 8 points in the second half but SIS came back to narrow the margin to a 4 point victory. Well done David who scored a massive 18 points, Shalin 6 and Isaac 4 in the 28 – 24 win.
