Friday and Saturday to be weekend holidays
Dear Parents,
As you all are aware, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued a directive to adjust weekend holidays to fall on Friday and Saturday, beginning May 1 2013.
Obviously, this change will also affect the school days for the students and we have had to make a number of changes to our planning. To ensure as smooth a transition as possible we have decided that the school will be closed from Thursday 2nd of May until Saturday 4th of May 2013. School will resume on Sunday 5th of May 2013.
From this day onwards the school week will be from Sunday to Thursday, Thursday will be the new early dismissal day with school finishing at 12.55 PM.
General school information
- School week : Sunday – Thursday
- School Hours/Front Desk Hours : 7.45 AM – 4.30 PM
- Arrival for Students : 8:00 – 8:15 AM
- Start of the School Day : 8:15 AM
- Dismissal for students : 3:15 PM
- After School Activities : 3:30 – 4:15 PM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
