The summer holidays are finally here! I hope everyone takes the time to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy the time with friends and family.
This summer, I encourage you all to listen to as much different styles, genres, eras of history as you can. Explore the different ways cultures and people communicate thought the art form. And if reading is more your style, check out this article from The Guardian about how Music classes transformed a school. Or this article from the NY Times, talking about how the Band Program in Brooklyn Public Schools are helping young students recover from the pandemic. Or, play with a parachute like the Grade 9 and 10s. 🙂
