Congratulations to our senior girls and boys basketball teams on their strong performances on the basketball court against Sohar International School teams. Before the break our girls recorded a big win over the SIS girls displaying good ball skills, passing and speed up the court. For ABIS Christine was the top scorer with 14 pts, Andee scoring some great lay ups in her 12 pts, Clarissa 10 and Ellie 8. They were well supported by Trisha, Alla, Aisha and Tamika who all had strong games.
The boys game was a much tighter affair with strong defense from both sides making for a low scoring game. ABIS were the first to score with a nice basket from David in the first few seconds. SIS hit back pretty quickly and from then on every time it looked like ABIS would break away SIS would score to stay in the game. David was our top scorer with 10pts with Eckhart, Williams, Rining and Isaac all contributing to end up the victors 23-19. Well done boys on a good win in a tight game.
