Over the last few weeks of school before the winter break secondary students participated in their Inter House Basketball Competition. It was an exciting competition and it all came down to the last game in both the girls and boys competitions. In the girls the Desert Foxes saved their best game for last with Emma, Christine and Greta playing great games to defeat the Falcons 14-6. The boys was an even more exciting affair with the underdogs, the Dolphins taking a big early lead over the favourites, the Desert Foxes. Klint, Julio and Ishtiaq displayed great teamwork and held on for a 13-9 victory despite some great baskets from David in the final stages. Emma was voted the MVP in the girls competition and Klint in the boys with both players having outstanding performances in all three games.
