G10 have been finishing their research plans for their websites that will be hosted by the school. The intention is to raise awareness of the UN sustainability goals by creating a webpage. Each student has been assigned a different goal to highlight.
G9 students have been analysing different Public Service Announcements to see what works and what doesn’t. They also brushed up on the ABIS academic honesty policy by reviewing it and completing a quiz.
Grade 8 have been analysing photostories as well as brainstormed what SDG they wish to highlight. A deep dive into the units Approaches to Learnings (ATL’s) allowed students to self evaluate the skills we will be focusing on in the unit.
Grade 7 had lots of fun evaluating existing stop motion movies in groups. The techniques used in the short movies will prove to be invaluable as they explore their own stop motion video. It is really exciting to see the possibilities for the students.
