In a big week in sport ABIS footballers took on Future Science School in the 14&U, 12&U and 10&U age divisions on Tuesday afternoon. Games were played late in the afternoon and weather conditions stayed relatively cool and pleasant in what was a great afternoon. The 10&Us was a very close game with ABIS scoring first but Future Science fought back strongly to be leading 3-2 minutes from full time. ABIS were awarded a penalty for a hand ball in the box and JJ calmly converted for a well deserved 3-3 draw. In the 12&Us ABIS were slow to put together some teamwork and the first half was very close until Rafael and Diego finally found the net to take a 2-0 lead at half time. The team really got going in the second half with Diego scoring 3 more, Rafael and Andrew one each for a final score of 7-0. In the 14&Us ABIS were far to strong with Julio dominating the plays and the rest of team playing a great passing game to completely control the match. Julio scored 4, Sultan 1 and Abdullah 1 in a 6-0 victory.
