This has been a great start for the Grade 11s to the IBDP Physics course. The whole class (all two of them) got stuck into the problem solving challenge and solved it successfully. We also discussed orders of magnitude and the size and age of the universe.

We had an interesting visit from our secondary science teacher. Mr Lopez shared a laser and mirror presentation. We learned that light moves in straight lines; it is reflected through clear objects and blocked by opaque objects.
