Our third game of basketball against SIS featured the Grade 7&8 boys in a nail biter. SIS got off to a good start and this helped their confidence as they scored a number of 3 pointers to always remain just in front of our boys and lead by 5 at half time. The ABIS boys found their groove in the second half with Newton scoring a number of good baskets as well as a Rhett finding the hoop and they were able to level the scores 23-23 with only seconds to play. A steal by SIS proved to be our undoing as SIS brought the ball down the court and put up a long 3 pointer that bounced off the ring up in the air and then wobbled around the rim and went in for SIS to win 26-23. Well done all the boys on a great game with Julio controlling the ball well and Sultan, Abdallah and Sulaiman all playing strong games.
