We are incredibly proud of our Grade 9 students, Dana, Rahaf, and Fatma, who successfully organized and led a comprehensive Clothes Donation Drive as their Service as Action project. They identified the crucial need to both reduce environmental clothing waste and support families needing clean garments, and they took ownership of every step: from planning and promoting the drive to collecting and recording a significant volume of donated items from students, staff, and families. Their successful campaign culminated in the donation of all collected garments to the local charity Takaful, ensuring the clothes directly benefit families in need. This project helped protect the environment by diverting clothes from landfills and also demonstrated exceptional leadership, fulfilling the Service as Action goal of planning and executing a student-initiated activity with a tangible, positive community impact.
