The North Al Batinah Directorate of Education celebrated a special moment as our school, ABIS, was honored by the Ministry of Education — represented by the First Domain Unit — after achieving 4th place in the governorate-level Creative Pens Competition.
Notably, ABIS stood out as the only private and international school to reach the final round among all schools in the governorate — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects our commitment to excellence and high-quality performance.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Masouma Al-Ajmi, Ministry Advisor for Language Performance Development and Head of the Technical Committee overseeing PIRLS 👑, along with Dr. Waleed Al-Hashmi, Director General of Education in the governorate.
During the event, Ms. Karima El-Sayyid Abdelmajeed was honored for her contributions in enhancing language performance and supporting students across various competitions and initiatives.
This recognition affirms our school’s dedication to progress, strong participation, and the advancement of First Domain Initiatives, aligned with the philosophy of the IB , PYP , Arabic Language Competitions , and the vision we uphold at ABIS .

شهدت تعليمية شمال الباطنة يومًا مميزًا بتكريم وزارة التربية والتعليم ممثلة في المديرية العامة للتربية والتعليم بمحافظة شمال الباطنة – وحدة المجال الأول – لمدرستنا
ABIS بعد حصولها على المركز الرابع على مستوى المحافظة في مسابقة أقلام مبدعة.
وقد تميّزت مدرسة الباطنة بكونها المدرسة الدولية والخاصة الوحيدة التي وصلت إلى التصفيات النهائية من بين مدارس المحافظة، وهو إنجاز يبعث على الفخر ويعكس جودة العمل وروح التميز.
تم التكريم بحضور الدكتورة معصومة العجمية، مستشارة وزارة التربية والتعليم لتطوير الأداء اللغوي ورئيسة اللجنة الفنية المشرفة على الدراسة الدولية بيرلز ، وبحضور الدكتور وليد الهاشمي، المدير العام للتربية والتعليم بالمحافظة.
وخلال الحفل تم تكريم الأستاذة كريمة السيد عبدالماجد تقديرًا لدورها وجهودها في تعزيز الأداء اللغوي، ودعم طلابنا في مختلف المسابقات والمجالات.
يجسّد هذا التكريم التزام مدرستنا بالمنافسة القوية، ومواكبة كل جديد، وتعزيز مبادرات المجال الأول، بما يتوافق مع نهج برامج
