Grade 9 science students are currently progressing through the final unit of the year, which centers around the elements of the periodic table and bonding. This week, our focus has been on the introduction to the periodic table with a focus on the position of different elements, properties of metals, non metals and metalloids. Due to the online format of our lessons, we have shared materials comprising informative slides, videos, and interactive activities to facilitate students’ comprehension of these concepts. Parents can assist by verifying whether their children are following the instructions to upload their work on Google Classroom. In light of the unexpected weather fluctuations, we strongly emphasize the importance of ensuring everyone’s safety. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected by these storms.
