Throughout the current week, the grade 11 chemistry students have persisted in their exploration of Group 17 – The Halogens. They have conducted investigations aimed at discerning the halide ions through the reaction with Silver nitrate and Dilute nitric acid, noting the varied colors of the resulting precipitates. Additionally, they have analyzed trends including reactivity and the capacity to function as oxidizing agents.
