What a year for students, teachers and parents….. In fact everyone around the world has been impacted by COVID.
Through all the challenges, the students have been amazing. Starting the year online, all students completed a series of digital products focusing on COVID awareness and the UN sustainability goals.
As the weather cooled, students moved to the outdoor woodwork workshop. Different challenges were met by the students, be that creating there own concrete pavers, bird house or innovation ideas.
Lastly, students moved to our amazing new design kitchen space. Initially we focused on kitchen safety, with thankfully ? only a few minor cuts. COVID unfortunately cut our units short. I am sure the students will love using the teaching space next year.
Lastly, I want to wish the grade 10s success as they move to the Diploma program. They have persevered during this challenging year, overcoming all manner of obstacles, culminating in the completion of their e-assessments. Well done on completing the MYP ?
