This week we have focused on mini projects to reinforce good design practices and have some fun.
This week students prepared and presented their design sketches to ‘clients’ otherwise known as their classmates. In groups of 3 they took turns presenting their ideas and then at the end of each presentation reflecting on the scoring rubric.Grade 8s have been refining their Portfolio google site. It is hoped that this will be used as a running record of the various aspects of their MYP journey (services as action, ATLs, goals, reflection, learner profiles)Well done to our winners of ABIS Masterchef 2021….. all students have showcased their cooking skills focusing on the various sensory explorations available as a chef. Next week they will continue on the task of creating a scavenger hunt for the new teachers joining us next academic year.G10 have been working on their own scavenger hunts for new teachers or new students. An activity that requires some planning and foresight. In this team’s game, students have created QR code’s which when found offers the next clue.
