All grades across design are into their first unit of the year. We are exploring UN Nations Sustainability Goals and The Covid pandemic.

Grade 7 = Explored the design cycle through a mini exercise of creating their own logo. They then were introduced to their unit which is a ‘change in perspective’ as a result of the pandemic captured using a stop motion movie.

Grade 8 = lots of time in Jamboard talking through the UN Sustainability Goals, brain storming a SDG that they wish to explore and documenting research into their process journal.

Grade 9 = The class spent a good bit of time debating the impact of Covid 19, through break out rooms and Jamboard. They have defined the problem and their research plans in their process journals. A quick quiz on command terms was thrown into the mix as well. A busy week.

G10 = Spent a lot of time exploring the UN SDG’s in breakout rooms and through Jamboard. They have explained and justified the problem and are now completing their research plans. We also looked at exemplar portfolio submissions to see where we are aiming to get to.
