Hello Abis Secondary !
This week it has been wonderful getting to know the students and see their faces! During the two days of orientation I was able to meet and work with all of the students in secondary. There is a definate learning curve for distance learning, but the students navigated it with grace and helped me to as well. I was especially pleased to see how helpful and caring they were to their classmates as well as their teachers. I am feeling grateful to be a part of such a lovely learning community. I am looking forward to getting started with the 7th and 8th grade Individuals and Societies classes, as well as being a part of the 7-12 secondary support classes as we go into this second week.
During my free time I have been focusing on getting my morning walks in, as the weather here in Florida in the mornings has been lovely.
