On Monday our girls travelled to Muscat for their first ever 11 a side football match against another girls team. Our girls went into the match with little preparation and some trepidation but were willing to put in their best efforts against an older and more experienced opposition. The girls started slowly and TAISM scored two early goals as our girls got adjusted to playing real football. The girls got better as the game went on and Andee was very unlucky not to score just before half time. Our girls created more opportunities to score in the second half but unfortunately couldn’t find the back of the net as TAISM took the game 5-0. Well done to all the girls on their efforts and willingness to take on a challenge way out of their comfort zone. The TAISM team and coaches were also thankful for the ABIS girl’s involvement and were impressed by their efforts.
