What do a Chinese Folk Tale, Friendship and Ukrainians have to do with each other? They are all related to performances coming up within the next 2 months here at ABIS!

First, on November 19th at 6:30PM, the 4-6 Grade students will present their evening program: an adaptation of the book “The Empty Pot”. This story is set in Ancient China and revolves around an aging emperor who is looking for his successor. Who will be the one person worthy of ruling China?

Second, the very next week on November 26th at 7:00PM, the secondary students will take the stage to present a concert based on the theme of Friendship. We’ll hear from our two secondary choirs and watch our secondary students dance!

Third, on December 10th and 11th, the Sports Hall will transport audiences to Ukraine with the performance of “Ukrainiacs!” A small troupe of skommadai, or storytellers, will entertain you with three famous Ukrainian folk tales, The Blabbermouth, The Puff Monster and Sirko and the Wolf. Tickets will go on sale the last week of November.
