This week Grade 8 have created some lovely Picasso appreciation drawings. They have looked in detail at his use of shape, pattern and intense colour – later in the unit they will make their own 3D artworks inspired by Picasso’s style.

Here is an excellent piece of work created at ABIS this week. The student used shape, pattern and colour blending skills to make this vibrant Gustav Klimt appreciation sketch. Great work, very well done.

The Grade 10 Art students have created some highly imaginative collages. They took inspiration from a variety of architectural styles and included colourful backgrounds using pastels and pencils. Later in the unit they will design their own perfect communities.
