Well done to all secondary students for their input and focus in our basketball unit. This week we looked at defensive strategies and offensive, off the ball plays to free up team mates before putting them into practise in game situations.
The Grade 6,7 and 8s had some great games with Michael and David having “hot hands” on the day to score nearly all the baskets for their teams in some closely contested games. Christine, Trisha and Chloe put in tireless efforts for their teams moving from one end of the court to the other to be effective in both offense and defense.
The Grade 9&10s also played a tight game this week with Rining’s hot shooting and Alex’s strong rebounding leading their team to victory.
