مع إسدال الستار على عامٍ دراسي حافل بالعطاء والإنجاز، أسترجع بكل فخر وامتنان رحلةً ثريةً من التعلم والنمو والنجاح، كان أبطالها طلبتنا الأعزاء وشركاؤنا في مسيرة التعليم
في الصف التمهيدي، كانت البداية الجميلة مع طلبتنا الصغار، حيث تعرفوا إلى مبادئ اللغة العربية، واكتشفوا الحروف والمقاطع، وخطوا أولى خطواتهم في عالم القراءة بكل شغف وثقة وحب، ليؤسسوا قاعدة قوية لمسيرتهم التعليمية القادمة
أما في الصفين الأول والثاني، فقد واصل الطلبة رحلتهم في تنمية مهارات القراءة وفهم المقروء والتعبير الكتابي والإملاء والأنماط اللغوية المختلفة، محققين تقدماً ملحوظاً يعكس جهودهم والتزامهم بالتعلم
ومن أبرز محطات هذا العام استمرار نجاح مبادرة «القارئ الصغير» للعام الثاني على التوالي من خلال تنظيم مسابقة المطالعة في أنشطة ما بعد المدرسة، حيث حظي نخبة من طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية بفرصة المشاركة في برنامج «القارئ الصغير» عبر إذاعة سلطنة عمان مع الأديب والإعلامي الأستاذ سليمان بن علي المعمري، كما شارك عدد من الطلبة مباشرة على الهواء في برنامج «الصباح رباح» عبر إذاعة مسقط إف إم مع الإعلامية الأستاذة أنعام الرويضية
وقد أسهمت هذه المشاركات الإعلامية في تعزيز ثقة الطلبة بأنفسهم، وتنمية مهارات التواصل والطلاقة اللغوية، وصقل قدراتهم في الحوار والتعبير أمام الجمهور، كما عززت لديهم روح المبادرة والقيادة والاعتزاز بإنجازاتهم، وفتحت أمامهم آفاقاً جديدة للتعلم والمشاركة المجتمعية الفاعلة
وفي ختام مسيرة المبادرات القرائية لهذا العام، أطلقنا مبادرة «كتاب اليوم… نجاح الغد» التي تهدف إلى ترسيخ ثقافة القراءة المستدامة وتعزيز قيم العطاء والتعاون والمشاركة المجتمعية، من خلال تشجيع الطلبة وأولياء الأمور على التبرع بالكتب المستخدمة في مادتي اللغة العربية والتربية الإسلامية، بما يتيح الفرصة لطلبة آخرين للاستفادة منها، ويسهم في التهيئة المبكرة والاستعداد الذهني لمناهج المواد الإنسانية للعام الدراسي القادم. وقد لاقت المبادرة تفاعلاً واسعاً من الأمهات وأولياء الأمور، وأنا على يقين بأنها ستؤتي ثمارها بإذن الله مع بداية العام القادم
وعلى الصعيد الأكاديمي والمهني، كان لي شرف المشاركة ببحث علمي( بعنوان الذكاء الاصطناعي و تمكين المرأة العربية)في المؤتمر الدولي الحادي والعشرين للغة العربية في دبي تحت رعاية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، وهو من أبرز المؤتمرات العالمية المعنية بخدمة اللغة العربية وتعزيز مكانتها
كما تشرفت بالحصول على الدكتوراه الفخرية من الجامعة الأفروآسيوية تقديراً لجهودي في المجال التربوي، إضافة إلى حصولي على العضوية الكاملة في الاتحاد العالمي للغة العربية لمدة ثلاث سنوات، وهو إنجاز أكاديمي ومهني أعتز به كثيراً، لما يمثله من تقدير للجهود المبذولة في خدمة اللغة العربية وتعليمها، وفرصة للتواصل مع نخبة من الباحثين والخبراء والمتخصصين على المستويين العربي والدولي
كما شاركت في تقديم مبادرات مدرسة الباطنة الدولية للتحصيل الدراسي خلال ورشة عمل بمدرسة العهد الزاهر أمام نخبة من التربويين، وتم تكريمي في حفل المجال الأول برعاية الدكتورة معصومة العجمي وعدد من القيادات التربوية بمحافظة شمال الباطنة. كذلك شاركت في المؤتمر الدولي بعنوان «أثر الذكاء الاصطناعي في الأسرة العربية» بمشاركة نخبة من رؤساء الجامعات والعمداء ورؤساء الأقسام والأكاديميين من مختلف الدول العربية.
وتعكس هذه الإنجازات إيمان مدرسة الباطنة الدولية بأهمية الاستثمار في الكوادر التعليمية وتمكينها من النمو والتطور المستمر. فما كان لكل هذه النجاحات أن تتحقق لولا البيئة الإيجابية والداعمة التي توفرها المدرسة.
وفي هذا المقام، أتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير لمستر دومينيك، ومستر ماثيو، ومس ميثا على دعمهم المتواصل وتشجيعهم الدائم للمبادرات والبرامج التعليمية التي تخدم طلبة ، وعلى ثقتهم المستمرة في المعلمين وإيمانهم بقدرتهم على إحداث أثر إيجابي حقيقي في حياة الطلبة والمجتمع المدرسي
ختاماً، أود أن أعبر عن فخري وامتناني لكل طالب وطالبة كانوا شركاء حقيقيين في هذه الرحلة الجميلة، ولكل ولي أمر دعم أبناءه وشجعهم على التعلم والقراءة والتميز
وأتمنى لطلبتي الأحباء وأولياء أمورهم الكرام عطلة صيفية سعيدة، مليئة بدفء المشاعر الأسرية، وجمال اللقاءات الاجتماعية، واللحظات السعيدة في ظل من تحبون. أسأل الله أن تكون أيامكم عامرة بالراحة والسكينة
والذكريات الجميلة، وأن تعودوا مع بداية العام الدراسي الجديد أكثر شغفاً وثقةً وتألقاً لمواصلة رحلة التعلم والنجاح

As another remarkable academic year comes to a close, I look back with immense pride on a journey filled with learning, growth, achievement, and meaningful experiences.
In Kindergarten, our young learners took their first exciting steps into the world of Arabic language learning. They explored letters, sounds, and syllables, building strong foundations for reading with enthusiasm, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.
In Grades 1 and 2, students continued their literacy journey by developing essential reading skills, reading comprehension, written expression, spelling, and a wide range of language patterns. Their progress throughout the year reflected their dedication, perseverance, and growing confidence as learners.
One of the highlights of this year was the continued success of our “Little Reader Initiative” for the second consecutive year. Through our after-school reading competition, a group of outstanding elementary students earned the opportunity to participate in the nationally recognized “Little Reader” radio program on Oman Radio, hosted by renowned author and broadcaster Sulaiman Al Maamari. In addition, several students were featured live on “Al Sabah Rabah” on Muscat FM with broadcaster Anam Al Rawaidhy.
These valuable media experiences significantly enhanced students’ confidence, communication skills, reading fluency, public speaking abilities, and self-expression. More importantly, they encouraged students to step beyond their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and develop leadership qualities that will benefit them throughout their educational journey.
As part of our commitment to promoting sustainable reading habits, we launched the “Today’s Book… Tomorrow’s Success” Initiative, which encourages students and families to donate previously used Arabic Language and Islamic Studies textbooks. The initiative aims to strengthen a culture of reading, foster generosity and community engagement, and help students prepare academically and mentally for the upcoming school year. The initiative received strong support from parents, particularly mothers, and I am confident that its positive impact will become even more evident at the beginning of next year.
On the academic and professional front, I had the honor of presenting a research paper at the 21st International Arabic Language Conference in Dubai, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This conference is recognized as one of the most prestigious international gatherings dedicated to advancing and promoting the Arabic language worldwide.
I was also deeply honored to receive an Honorary Doctorate from the Afro-Asian University in recognition of my professional contributions to education. Furthermore, I was granted full membership in the Global Arabic Language Association for a period of three years, a significant academic and professional achievement that reflects ongoing dedication to the promotion and development of Arabic language education while providing opportunities to collaborate with leading researchers and specialists across the Arab world and beyond.
In addition, I had the opportunity to present ABIS academic achievement initiatives during a professional workshop at Al Ahd Al Zaher School, attended by distinguished educators and educational leaders. I was also recognized during the Educational Domain One Ceremony under the patronage of Dr. Masouma Al Ajmi and educational representatives from the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah. Moreover, I participated in the international conference “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Arab Family,” alongside university presidents, deans, department heads, and academics from across the Arab world.
These achievements reflect the strong culture of growth, innovation, and continuous learning fostered at Al Batinah International School. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the supportive environment that encourages educators to pursue excellence, innovation, and professional development.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Mr. Dominic, Mr. Matthew, and Ms. Maitha for their continuous encouragement, unwavering support, and belief in initiatives that positively impact our students and school community. Their leadership creates an environment where ideas flourish and meaningful learning experiences can thrive.
Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all my students and parents who have been valued partners throughout this wonderful journey. Your support, trust, and commitment have contributed greatly to every success we have celebrated this year.
