Our Grade 6 students recently enjoyed a special Moving Up Day, giving them a preview of what learning in the MYP looks and feels like.
In Science, students were introduced to the importance of lab safety through an inquiry based approach. They asked questions, made observations, and applied their understanding in simple hands on investigations to identify acids and bases.
It was wonderful to see their curiosity, enthusiasm, and confidence grow throughout the session. Many students embraced the challenge of working with new equipment and thinking in new ways, while supporting one another along the way.
Experiences like this help build a smooth and positive transition into the next stage of their learning journey. We are excited to see them continue to explore, question, and discover in the year ahead.
