There has been a lot of man hours and activity invested in repairing all the damage to the Secondary Learning Centre. We have experienced one or two unforeseen setbacks connected to the weather so we have had to be creative in finding solutions , however we hope to reopen at some point next week as long as we don’t have a tornado! In terms of work we have had the whole building deep cleaned, replaced the roof tiles, replaced some of the furniture, had all electrical items cleaned and serviced, and had general electrical work undertaken. I have attached a few pictures so that you can see the ‘before’ and ‘so far’.

I am delighted with how Secondary students have adapted to their temporary classrooms and how teachers pressed on in a very focused manner and with little fuss. We are looking forward to the Student-Led-Conferences on Monday and hope that you have made your reservations. Grade 10 students are about to embark on IGCSE exams, with Art starting tomorrow and other exams starting on May 7th, so we all wish them the best of luck. Hopefully the fabulous Art Day we had this week should provide them with some inspiration.

I wish you a drier weekend!
