Happy Thursday everyone!

We have successfully completed the 4 weeks of the 4th term. It is great to see students evolving and excited to do new things everyday. The energy that you bring to the school is just amazing. Here’s a look at the incredible things we did this week and the exciting adventures ahead!

🚀 Grade 7: Exploring the spaces with Mathematics!

You absolutely rocked this week while inquiring into the world of spaces. You have completed the review of two dimensional geometry and now moving into 3 dimensional spaces. This week we started inquiring into the surface area of solids. The highlight of the week is that many of you are getting yourself on the task. Next week we will continue exploring 3 dimensional geometry of solids with focus on the surface area and if you could be quick learners then we will explore the volume of solids as well.

💡 Grade 8: Getting into the world of data!

This week, we inquired into the techniques of analysing the data. We inquired into the median, quartiles, range and inter-quartile range (IQR). We have also explored extracting five point summaries from the box and whisker plot and made box and whisker plots using the five point summary. The highlight of the week is that almost all of you are able to learn this concept very successfully. Next week, we will continue the inquiry into the analysis of the continuous data and their real-life applications.

✨ Grade 9: Exploring abstractness of the patterns and relationships!

This week, we continued our exploration of the concepts of functions as machines and extended the understanding with the help of flow charts, domain, range, mapping diagrams and graphs and types of graphs. Along with this you have also submitted your criteria C and D assessment of the data analysis unit which is a preparation to IBDP course. The biggest highlight of the week is that you have submitted the summative and these are celebrations of your creative learning. Next week, we will focus more on graphs of functions and types of functions.

📈 Grade 10: Preparing for the future!

This week, we reviewed the concepts which could be useful for the upcoming IBDP math. We will continue reviewing prior knowledge for IBDP in order to keep you super ready for the upcoming rigorous IBDP journey. The assessments are ending this week and I wish you all the very best for upcoming celebrations of learning!

🎯 Grade 11: Quantifying uncertainty of chances!

The learning engagement this week has been fantastic! We reviewed the topics for the final examination. Kognity has been very helpful in this process.  The best highlight of the week is that you are able to retain most of your previous knowledge. Next week, you have your year end examination. I wish you all the very best!!!

You have all earned a wonderful and restful weekend. Let’s meet again on Sunday with lots of energy and excitement to learn and explore!!!
