Happy Wednesday everyone!
We have completed the 31 weeks of the academic year and 2 weeks of the 4th term. It is great to see students evolving and excited to do new things everyday. The energy that you bring to the school is just amazing. Here’s a look at the incredible things we did this week and the exciting adventures ahead!
🚀 Grade 7: Exploring the spaces with Mathematics!
You absolutely rocked this week while inquiring into the world of spaces . You have discovered the method of calculating perimeter and the areas of the geometrical figures such as triangles, various types of quadrilaterals and polygons. The highlight of the week is that you are celebrating your learning everyday. Next week we will continue exploring geometry and its real world applications.
💡 Grade 8: Getting into the world of data!
This week, we started a new unit based on data analysis. We reviewed our prior learning and now building new knowledge on it. We explored the meaning of population, census and sample. We also inquired into the sampling methods with their strengths and limitations. The highlight of the week is the energy and enthusiasm to learn these concepts. Next week, we will continue the inquiry into the analysis of the data and related visuals in the context.
✨ Grade 9: Exploring abstractness of the patterns and relationships!
This week, we completed the linear and quadratic sequences and the criteria B and C assessment. We have also devoted our time to work on the project based on the data analysis. The biggest highlight of the week is student engagement and their curiosity to learn.. Next week, we will connect sequences and functions leading to understanding the algorithms of the functions.
📈 Grade 10: Preparing for the future!
This week, we reflected on the mock e-assessment and started the practice of the past papers on the e-assessment player platform. While practising these, we also started inquiring into the trigonometric functions.Your dedication and commitment is inspiring. Next week, we will continue doing the revision using the e-assessment player.
🎯 Grade 11: Quantifying uncertainty of chances!
The learning engagement this week has been fantastic! We completed data handling. We started and completed the concept of probability of simple and combined events. We have also completed the conditional probability and independence of events. The best highlight of the week is that you are able to connect your previous knowledge with the new knowledge quite successfully. Next week, we will start the probability distribution of discrete and continuous data.
You have all earned a wonderful and restful weekend. Let’s meet again on Sunday with lots of energy and excitement to learn and explore!!!
