Proud to celebrate the achievements of our Grade 8 Science students. In their individual Criterion D project-based assessment, students researched and represented ecosystems by either creating a 3D model or sketching a scientific diagram. They identified biotic and abiotic factors, food chains and webs, and analyzed human impacts. What made this particularly powerful was that students also proposed legislations for the preservation of their ecosystems, connecting global challenges to actionable solutions.

This task reflects how inquiry-based learning and creativity can nurture critical thinking, problem-solving, and environmental responsibility. Their models and sketches beautifully showcase how science education extends beyond the classroom to address the world’s most pressing issues.
