For the past two weeks, MYP students participated in various fitness tests to assess their current fitness level. Then they must develop their physical and health goals, using the SMART acronym, and design a fitness plan to improve or maintain personal fitness. Students will implement their plan over the next four weeks and evaluate the effectiveness of their plan at the end of the unit. The learning activities in G7-G8 will be guided inquiry, and in G9-10, students will be encouraged to take ownership (responsibility) of their learning with the teacher being the facilitator.
