We are in the final stretch of the year and will soon begin new units in science. Grade 8 will conclude chemistry with a brief look at reactions and look at the study of waves.
Grade 7 will complete forces and motion and look at work and energy. If time permits, we may take a brief look at some chemistry basics.
It is important that students organise their learning and keep track of deadlines for summative tasks. Many have not done so in the past and have received poor grades as a result. It is not too late to improve grade levels. Please ensure that your children are keeping up with their commitments. To assist parents further, I will be sending emails to students (with parents copied) to remind them of their upcomming important tasks or deadlines.
