Last week our senior girls traveled to TAISM to play their U19 team. The girls played extremely well and put up a great display against an older and taller opposition on their home court. The game was going basket for basket in the first half after TAISM scored the first and we scored the second from a beautiful basket from Christine after an excellent passing move. TAISM held a slight lead at half time and pulled ahead in the second half as we just couldn’t complete the baskets. The final score finished at 34-2o but it didn’t reflect the closeness of the game as nerves seemed to affect our girls and we missed many easy baskets that the girls would normally get. Well done Andee, Chritine, Tay’a, Sanna, Emma, Kerry Ann, Sara and Courtney on a great effort.
