Our girls had a fantastic game last week against Sohar Park. The Sohar Park girls put in a much improved effort and got off to a great start to fly out to a big lead. Sanna scored a nice basket to start us off but Sohar Park played some excellent defense and kept their scoring rolling along at the other end to go out to a 10 point lead. The ABIS girls gradually found their feet and slowly clawed their way back into the game with Andee and Sara scoring some nice baskets to keep us within striking distance. In the third quarter Tay’a scored 4 straight baskets to equalize the scores and then Andee scored 3 and Sara, Courtney and Hannah 1 each to take the game 33-25. It was an excellent effort by the girls and each of our players made major contributions to the game. Emma and Hannah did a great job in defense and Emma’s enthusiasm really inspired the girls to try their best. Well done girls.
