G12 this week have continued to get to grips with the magical world of particle physics, looking at Feynman diagrams in particular which aim to visualise the interactions and decays of particles. The windows in the new building and the tables in the Science lab provided an excellent writing surfaces that allowed for mistakes to be made and learning to happen.

Grade 8 investigated the presence of starch in leaves – the first experiment in the new Photosynthesis unit, while Grade 7 successfully and safely undertook the ‘squeaky pop’ experiment to test for the presence of hydrogen gas.
