So the Secondary students are reaching the second to last day of their trip week and are have a great time on the sea or wandering in the desert. The grade six’s are all now ‘level one’ sailors and will be sailing to a remote island today trying to hopefully find buried treasure, whilst the the 7’s,8’s and 9’s will attempt to walk/ride the camels from Wadi Jizi Dam down towards Crowne Plaza as they gradually work their way back to the school, hoping to arrive here tomorrow afternoon.
Some of you will know that Claire Willis had a unfortunate accident and fractured her leg this week. She is now doing well and recovering and the leg has been reset and put in a cast. Everybody in the school wishes Claire a full and speedy recovery. She handled the accident very maturely with a sense of humour and courage that amazed us all. I am sure she will get a hero’s welcome from her friends when she returns!
Regards,
Leo Thompson
