As we wrap up another academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our journey together and wish you all a wonderful summer. To my Grade 7 Advisory class, it has been an absolute privilege being your advisor this year. As my first time advising a Grade 7 cohort, you truly made it count. The vibrant mix of unique personalities and characters in our room gave me a fantastic opportunity to learn alongside you, and I am incredibly proud of how you’ve grown.
To my Grade 9 Science students, this has been a phenomenal year of discovery. Having taught you for three consecutive years now, we have built a special bond that will stay with me for a very long time. The knowledge and skills you have mastered over the past year will be a massive asset as you step up into your final year of the MYP.
Looking ahead to our senior students, big transitions are on the horizon. To the Grade 10s, you are about to take a major step into the DP journey. As you await your MYP eAssessment results, please use this holiday to rest, catch up with family and friends, and reflect on your achievements. Come back ready to hit the ground running. For our Grade 11s, you are now entering the final, crucial stretch of your DP experience. The upcoming year brings major milestones,from your IAs and EE to TOK and CAS,so use this summer wisely. It is the perfect window to relax and recharge, but also to stay on top of your studies and reflect on your goals so you can return stronger than ever.
To all of my students across Grades 7, 9, 10, and 11: thank you for your hard work, your energy, and the memories we’ve shared. You have all earned a well-deserved break. Have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer holiday!
