This week, our Grade 7 students received their Criterion A grades for Science and Math. We are encouraging them to reflect on their grades and focus on areas where improvements have been suggested. In class, the students reviewed and revised the two papers.
In Math, the students are progressing with their study of Geometry, focusing on the properties of angles formed by parallel lines and transversals. This week, they explored corresponding angles, vertically opposite angles, alternate angles, and co-interior angles.
In Science, we are currently investigating forces and energy. As part of their Criteria B and C summative assessment, students collected raw data during lab activities this week. This data will be essential as they prepare to write their lab reports, which they will complete in class over the next week.
