On Saturday, 9 December, ABIS Model United Nations students will be hosting the inaugural edition of ABIS MUN. This will be a one-day mini-conference involving students in Grades 9-12 and will include a number of visiting individual delegates from other schools in Sohar. The purpose of the day’s event is to provide delegates with a welcoming and low-pressure opportunity to learn more about MUN and to practice the skills of debate, collaboration, and consensus building. NO PAST EXPERIENCE WITH MUN IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. Lunch and snacks will be provided on the day of the conference.
