Happy Thursday, Math superstars! 👋

We are in the 3rd week of term 2 which is also the 12th week of the academic year. This week has been a week of celebrations. You are full of energy and you’re ready for the assessment seasons upcoming in weeks. Believe me it was just awesome to see you everyday. Here’s a look at the incredible things we did this week and the exciting adventures ahead!

🚀 Grade 7: Discovering patterns and relationships!

You absolutely rocked this week while mastering the applications of ratios and proportions. You are now in the quest of finding the patterns and relationships in numbers and real-world. Next week we will continue with the exploration of patterns and description along with the general rules for them. These learnings will help you with the assessments.

💡 Grade 8: Mastering Linear Algebra!

This week, you inquired into problem-solving using the strategy of “isolating the unknown while maintaining the balance” which will help you to solve the complex linear equations and their real-life applications in future. Your thoughtful inquiries are a massive win this week! The use of google slides is working very well. These inquiries will help you to master the art of problem-solving, abstract thinking and experience the beauty of the mathematical language of symbols and notations.

✨ Grade 9: Getting into the world of Abstract reasoning!

This week, you are into the world of algebra and you are factoring quadratics. You have investigated and discovered a new rule to factorize quadratics in minimum steps. Your class engagements in the inquiries are commendable. Next week, we’re continuing to do algebraic thinking and dive deeper into the solution of quadratic equations and leading to the criterion B investigation summative.

📈 Grade 10: Function discoverers!

It has been so good to watch you explore the universe of functions and graphs this week as well. This week we solved some real-world questions modeled into exponential functions.. The focus towards learning is commendable and encouraging as always. Next week , we will dive deeper into formative assessments and review the functions.

🎯 Grade 11: The City planned and now getting in to the models!

The learning engagement this week has been fantastic! We have started exploring the functions and modeling. Next week, we will continue functions and modeling and their graphs and explore the abstract beauty of Mathematics.

You have all earned a wonderful and restful break. Go recharge those brilliant brains! 🧠

All the best,

Mr. Arun
