Grade 7 science students have made a smooth transition into secondary school and are having a great time learning, especially with our first unit on the scientific method. Last week’s Bunsen burner license test was a big highlight, building their confidence with lab equipment. This week, they’ve shown real progress in handling apparatus during experiments. We’ve now shifted to structured report writing, introducing skills and knowledge essential for Criteria B and C. Right now, students are focusing on identifying variables and crafting research questions which is an important first step in scientific inquiry.
