Grade 7 students have begun their MYP science programme demonstrating substantial engagement and initiative. Currently, they are progressing through the introductory unit on An Introduction to Science and the Scientific Method, where they are exploring how experimentation takes shape in the lab.  This week’s classroom activities included research and presentation tasks centered on eminent scientists, with a preference for those whose inventions originated from their own countries, enhancing contextual understanding. This enables them to refine and strengthen their research and communication skills.

The upcoming focus will be on lab safety and the use of scientific apparatus, as we prepare them for the much-anticipated Bunsen burner license test which is always a highlight of the year!
