Oman Week at ABIS | Celebrating Omani Heritage
On February 10th, the Sultanate of Oman celebrates the inclusion of prominent Omani figures in UNESCO’s program for the centenary or fiftieth anniversary of significant historical events and globally influential personalities.
On this occasion, Oman Week at ABIS was truly beautiful, exciting, and engaging, offering a rich cultural and educational experience for our Grade 2 students.
Our special activities included:
Local and international trips highlighting Oman’s history and culture.
The Gerga’an (Qaranqasho) celebration, where students exchanged small gifts in an atmosphere of joy and cooperation.
Engaging educational activities that deepened students’ understanding of Omani heritage and history.
These activities reflect authenticity and cultural pride, reinforcing our commitment in the ABIS to fostering global understanding and a strong sense of identity among our students.
