The Grade 7 AJ decided to focus on composting for their advisory project. They wanted to help their community to be more mindful about how to manage food waste. After learning about ‘what is composting?’ and ‘why do we compost?’, the students prepared clearly labelled buckets for each learning centre to enable everyone willing to compost to do so.  Our first Thursday collection happened on January 18th during which the whole class observed some oof their peers to know how it is done. Today, our first group of 5 students was in charge of collecting the buckets, emptying them, rinsing them and finally putting them back. All 5 students were very involved and the process was very smooth. Caring about our planet is essential and every action counts!
