For students in grade 9, the week has been very engaging and interesting. The students practically explored their environment by measuring various factors around them. They also took time to investigate how some of these factors affect specific living organisms in the environment. In order to explore these factors practically, the students used modern equipment in their measurements. The purpose of this is to expose them to current technological and scientific equipment that are used in industry and in research. It also afforded the students the opportunity to work collaboratively and share ideas. The entire activity helped to enrich their learning experiences. Some of the pictures are attached here.
