The ABIS Model United Nations club had a highly successful showing at the TAISMUN ‘23 conference last weekend in Muscat. Our delegation of five committed students prepared for debate and resolution writing in the General Assembly on remarkably short notice. ABIS students were main submitters of draft resolutions, successfully argued for and passed amendments, and offered many points of information during the two-day event. Renee Van Der Wal was selected best delegate for ABIS in the General Assembly and Clara Santana was selected most outstanding delegate overall for the entire conference! We should all be very proud of our dedicated MUN students! We look forward to the next opportunity to represent ABIS at a future conference.
