Graphs are a picture to understanding something based on evidence and measurements. They illustrate the relationships between things. Being able to take data and transform it into pictures (graphs) and then use that to make predictions is a skill that is used in all fields of work. The grade 7s have been working hard at learning to draw and interpret graphs, and it was a fortunate co-incidence that they are currently working on graphs in INS, Math and Science right now – so they can see the connected-ness of this knowledge.
